Utilities, Commissions, and State DOTs: Working Together to Deploy EV Charging

Join the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation (Joint Office) as we hear the perspective of a utility, a public utility commission, and state department of transportation (DOT) working to deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

The webinar will explore how these stakeholders are working to streamline the service connection agreement process, plan for available capacity and additional load, create electricity rates that meet the needs for EV charging, and ensure a positive customer experience from EV charging site host to the EV end user.

Audience members will leave the webinar with a better understanding as to how these stakeholders can collaborate to bridge transportation and energy needs for EV charging station deployment.

The conversation will include representation from:
- Kaleb Vander Wiele, WisDOT Division of Budget and Strategic Initiatives, Transportation Electrification Project Manager
- Cathleen Lewis, E-Mobility Program Manager at New Jersey Board of Public Utilities
- Brian Wilke, Director of Business Development, National Grid.
